Need mods
Who wants to be a mod? Tell me why you'd be a good mod. There aren't too many mod features, but the site really needs more people approving/rejecting new members. That is a manual process to weed out shit accounts, and I just had to approve 127 new members because I haven't been here in a month or so and apparently nobody is doing it.

What do you mean under 'shit accounts'? Are there fake/spambot accounts? I don't have too much freetime because of the university, but I guess approving/rejecting members doesn't require everyday presence, so I offer my help. I think I would be a good mod because I can check the site in every few days, and I'm a nice guy. These are all my relevant features.

Shit account is generally a fake name like "Awesome Tricker" age 100. I don't get any spam bot signups. I just reject those lazy accounts and make them put in their real name and age if they want to be approved. The whole point of Club540 is to network real trickers together so if everybody has an alias, nobody will know who is who on the map and whatnot.
Version 5 will be all linked up through Facebook so moderation will be much more automated but for now we just need man power, and really only for this feature.

I'd be interested in being a mod. I just hate to see this website dying...
I feel like it's a very important resource to the tricking community and it'd be a shame to see it go downhill. I'd definitely keep an eye on things if you want me to be a mod.

Ok Fiddleflip and Wordsmith, you guys are both mods. I didn't add a lot of moderator functionality to the code since most of it is handled through command line, but you can manage forum posts, threads, etc. and most importantly approve or reject new users. When you login, you'll see a Moderate link in the top right - from there it's pretty straightforward.
Also you can add/edit tricks in the Tricktionary. Please be thoughtful of the community and don't do anything mean which would require me to rollback the database.
