What's up guys?

So basically here's the deal:

Club540 is going to be turned in to a tricking information site. Think tricktionary, but on a more epic scale! Mwahaha!

I'll do everything I can to keep the forums up here for you guys, we're an awesome, tiny community.

Currently I'm working with the developers and coders on TS to combine the sites into one epic tricking resource and forum, with emphasis on networking between tricksters and a vast resource of articles and tricking knowledge.

Let me know what you guys think and any suggestions you have!

Before we attempt to expand into a more all-encompassing tricking resource, there's a lot that needs updating/changing on the current website. I think all the regulars ought to help out in some way, even if it is merely brainstorming.

For instance, there are many flaws in the tricktionary that could be remedied fairly quickly (Ex.: aeriola should be class B or higher), and a few that would be more time-consuming (we could create a better system of organization).

Regarding the forum itself, I noticed something on TS that is currently absent from club540: a "cinema" forum. We've all been using the "Tricking Discussion" forum for posting what videos we produce, but things would be mildly less cluttered, and it would be simpler to find footage of someone of whom you wish to find footage, if we had a seperate forum for our videos.

The first time I saw the "Aeriola" I was like "No way can I do that anytime soon". Some stuff does need to be moved around. Maybe an "essentials for tricking" section as well that includes things like "Backflip", "Double Leg", "540", etc.?

The forum here also kind of turns me off. The look is nice... but the posting is kinda ridiculous. I've seen some invisionfree forums that are set up nicer than this (TS uses a similar look for their forums).

I do think that putting the TS users into the Tricking Map thing is a FANTASTIC idea and should be one of the top priorities. Since they have so much more people it'll really open up a lot of doors for people (me included).

I'm gonna bring up a remodeling of the home page. I like the buttons and stuff... but they're behind the text for me. I think putting them on the right side (or putting the login thing on the right and the "info" stuff on the left) would be perfect. That way you can have that movie thing!

I still like the idea of the tricktionary being something more of a tree, starting with pre-requisites and branching off into what else comes from them.

To be honest, I was more of a fan of the Class System for the trictionary...

But anyway, I know theres going to be a few big things happening over the next few months and I'm willing to help out where I can, but I don't know crap about coding other than it's used on computers...

Also, I feel kinda bad about jumping in with TS so soon after Sean handed the Club over... :\

Hey don't feel bad, we're still going to be our own site, this is for the good of the whole community, and a big step for online tricking in general I think.

We could all be part of something big. Sean wants to help the community, he just knew that he wouldn't be able to do it himself.

@ ben, if you have the time you could even combine the "tree-cktionary" and the "class" selection ^^ M-M-M-MONSTERKILL

I don't have the power to do any of that haha, it's the mods' job for now.
