You need to find your anearobic threshold (the point where u can only manage 1 or 2 words per breath and you're having to breath open mouthed to do so)
Once you've found this you will be able to know how you want to work out;
If you want to burn fat you should stay BELOW your AT when working out, the closer to your AT the better
If you work out ABOVE your AT however, your energy will go towards increasing Glycocen stores, allowing more of what you eat to be used in your muscles rather than being used as fat

Yea don't forget another benefit of zone 4 training is cardiac efficiency and enhancement. You'll increase your stroke volume which will raise your AT, meaning you can do more work with less effort and have a much better chance of burning fat because of the extra oxygen supply.
