Feilong Kick Help
I've been working my pop360's and i can hyper them, but when i try to kick that other leg out it just freezes beneth me, do i just need to drill more or is it something else. The only time I get the kick out I mess up the take off (one footed).

I'm having trouble understanding what you mean by "freezes" but I think I can help anyway. Keep in mind that traditional "feilong" is made of two kicks:
1. "pop360" {hyper 180hook}
2. "pop tornado" {360round}
It sounds like you've got 1 down, be sure to practice the other a few times and then mix them together. Another general tip is the quicker you can finish the first kick the more time you'll have for the second! Good luck
I know what he means. I have that problem when I do certain set ups with 540s. It means his leg suddenly stays in the same position. It feels wierd because you want to move the leg but something wont let you move it. Keep trying to force the leg out and eventually it will come.
thanks, i ment to reply earlier but my comp was being stupid. I drilled the hell out of my pop360's (i dont have to think about hypering anymore), and i played round with pop tornados, and i got feilongs
work on spinning inside cresent, with your right leg (if thats your second kick out of the feliong) (or your left if thats your second kick) then from there drill tornado's with a insider cresent intead of a round house.
p.s you should always drill basick kicks more than and before tricking, remember your "tricking" baics, all trick are advance ments of basic kicks.
yeah most all the points were hit by everyone here. alot of it has to do with drilling but also, confidence, i run into this problem on new moves or moves i've repeatedly ate mat on. be confident that your gonna land it and throw it harder than usual. practice your "pop tornado" and get it to where you can swing through almost. it should allow for more time to add the first kick, also get to the point in where you snap the round kick on your way up and you should have enough time to add the first kick next time you try, power and commitment will really help you on these
