I just noticed in the database that we have officially accepted over 5000 trickers into our family.  That's 5000 unique, real people who either trick or who are interested enough in tricking to join.

Club540 version 3 had over 30,000 users. At the time I had a secure and private system so in order to view / download videos on the site you needed to be a member. I'm sure that created incentive for many non-trickers to register just to see what was up or to follow a link, etc.

This version, I literally eliminated all reason to join unless you were ready to provide shit - video, a tricking spot, etc. There's no reason to be a member unless you want to contribute. So - I'm confident over 90% of our database is a legit tricker. That's a shit ton of trickers, guys.

With that being said, there's no reason our map shouldn't be full, our events calendar shouldn't be over-booked, and our new videos buried in a day.

With TrickerBattle.com coming up, there will likely be some changes around here as far as the infrastructure is concerned. I won't get into any details yet, but it's pretty exciting.

We had some server-wide issues with mysql. Some steps have been taken to resolve the issue and to help prevent it from happening again.

Classes:
I got rid of the classes on the tricktionary and replaced them with labels that make more sense and added a bit of explanation. I also added a "Group alphabetically" link at the top of the page for trickers who don't give a shit about the classes or who are sick of trying to find a trick and having to look at each class box to find the right one. The classes were Sessh's thing and while I personally like the idea of grouping tricks by difficulty so beginners have some sort of guide, I think the groups need to be more broad and forgiving; "Class D" seems much less forgiving than "Advanced", for example.

Tutorials:
The trick pages now display any submitted tutorials so you don't have to leave the page and click on Tutorials and then look for the same trick you were just viewing.

Prerequisite for...
I did this last week but I'll add it to the list since it was in the bugs/suggestions forum. Now on the trick pages it will display any tricks which have THAT trick as a prerequisite. Basically it gives you an idea of where you should go from that trick.

I'm open to any more ideas while I'm on this motivation streak.

Hey guys - you probably noticed when you post in the forums now that we have a new rich text editor for you. It's pretty simple to figure out. To add a Youtube video, click the Youtube button, paste in the link. Same for Vimeo.

If there are any other video sites you want supported, let me know and I'll add more buttons.
